The old, listed winegrower's house directly on the Moselle is the ideal place to realise Rienne's and Julian's idea.

The idea of creating a place to give good wine and good food a stage and to enjoy the Moselle.
The wine selection focuses on organic and artisanal wines. The food is based on fresh, high-quality and local ingredients.

Spay 25 is a casual meeting place. A garden with a direct view of the Moselle and an old vaulted cellar make the place unique and distinctive.

At Spay 25 we do not offer table service. Everything is based on self-service. We have a large counter where we are happy to receive you and take your order.
You can then take the wine and food directly to your chosen seat.

Spay 25 Gutsausschank is open regularly and serves the organic wines from Julian Scheid by glass and bottle. The wine is accompanied by regional snacks, local cured meats and wine friendly food. Today Julian continues the heritage of his grandfather’s Straußwirtschaft with a renewed focus on caring for the historic vineyards of the Mosel. The wines are handmade form grapes grown on the organic steep slate vineyards of Merl.

The pop-up wine bar offers a sommelier & winemaker selected list of wines from around the world. The bottle list is a collection of favorite wines from travels, friend’s wineries, under the radar grapes and lesser-known regions. The food is creative, international and fun; showcasing regional products. A relaxed place for friends to meet and try something new. Good music, great wines and tasty bites.
