Geierlay, one of the most beautiful hanging rope bridges in Germany, in the middle of the Hunsrück. This impressive building spans the valley between Sosberg and Mörsdorf.
Via an access path of approx. 2 km (also partial access path to Saar-Hunsrück Steig) you hike to the respective bridgeheads of Sosberg and Mörsdorf. Now it's time
for pure adrenaline. Walking over the bridge you experience unique views into the Hunsrück. If you don't have enough after that, you can walk over the "Geierlayschleife"
to the visitor centre Mörsdorf. Parking spaces are available in the two local communities, as it is not possible to park at the bridge.
