Sporty tour through forests and vineyards down the Mosel to St. Aldegund
Enjoy the ride through the forest and vineyards and the romantic Mosel towns of Zell (Mosel), Bullay, Alf and St. Aldegund. As a highlight, we recommend a detour to the 236 m high Prinzkopfturm - with magnificent views of the Eifel and Hunsrück and the narrow Mosel loop with the towns of Pünderich, Zell (Mosel) and Bullay.
Start: Markplatz, Zell (Mosel) - keep right and cross the footbridge - at the end turn right and walk through the district of Kaimt up to the federal road.After a few metres, cross the road to the left to Weinbergsweg in the direction of Marienburg. At the Marienburgsattel turn left downhill, after about 150 m uphill towards Prinzenkopf. Pass the Drieschütte in the direction of the Dünnwaldhütte. Easy trails down to the Alfbach stream in the direction of the Alf factory. There up to Solligberg, after a few hundred metres turn right towards Aldegund, continue through vineyards to the centre of the village, then left uphill towards Rowlingplatz. Continue up to Solligberg, then left towards the forest descent via wide paths back to Alf-Fabrik. Then past the Alfbach stream to Alf, then follow the main road over the double bridge towards Bullay - continue either by road or cycle path via Merl to Zell (Mosel).

Cycling equipment required
Stop at the Prinzenkopf tower with a view of the narrow Mosel loop.
Change to the opposite side of the Moselle via the B53 (via the Bullay double-decker bridge or the Zell-Kaimt motorway bridge). Then straight on to the market place (Town hall, Balduinstr. 44, D-56856 Zell (Mosel).
Parking facilities along the Mosel promenade in Zell (Mosel) - subject to charges.
Free parking in the streets "Brandenburg" and "Am Bahnhof".
