General information

Directions

From the train station in Ediger-Eller, walk towards the Moselle and under the bridge. Walk along the agricultural path on the hillside past the fruit trees. Then cross the road and take the riverside path on the Moselle side. Here and on the slopes opposite you can already see rasa peach trees. Along the Moselle, you pass the steepest vineyard in Europe and the ruins of the Stuben monastery. In Bremm, take the pedestrian underpass into the village and then follow the signs uphill through the typical Moselle alleyways towards the Calmont via ferrata until you reach a blue house. Turn left uphill (there are peach products from the Dreis family at the vending machine 24/7) and immediately left again. The path leads back along the picturesque village to numerous orchards and vineyards. Cross the road at the hikers' hut and take the middle path on the slope. Over two thousand vineyard peach trees grow here on the northern slope between Bremm and Neef. The map overleaf shows the way, which offers wonderful views and photo opportunities. An extra loop on the slope is possible and worthwhile. The route continues over the bridge to Neef and then immediately curves down to the banks of the Moselle, where the peach trees are in early bloom. Cross the fairground and turn left up into Alte Kirchstraße. Opposite the small medieval church tower is the Pfirsichhof, where you can buy delicious products in the shop window or in the farm store. From there it is about 150 meters uphill to Neef train station. Trains stop at Eller and Neef stations every hour.
