Vineyards, scattered fruit meadows, magnificent views into the Moselle valley and over lush green fields offer you this bike tour through the regions Moselle and Mullerthal!
This tour offers special scenic attractions that want to be cycled. It has both very hilly and flat sections and is particularly suitable for ambitious cyclists. Less experienced cyclists can also enjoy the charm of the landscape on rented e-bikes. You will be offered exceptional views of the Moselle, in whose foothills numerous orchards adorn the landscape. A detour to the producers of regional products increases the experience value of this tour. The route also coincides on very beautiful sections with the Echternach-Luxembourg (PC2) and Syr (PC4) national cycle routes.
Places of interest: Nature conservation centre "A Wiewesch" in Manternach, orchards worth seeing, Roman grave route in the forest "Weiler" near Lellig, Butterfly Garden in Grevenmacher, English Park and the harbour in Mertert, Aquarium in Wasserbillig.
The tour runs partly on public roads. Keep to the road traffic regulations even on traffic-calmed roads and bear in mind that local residents and farmers may cross your path.
No special equipment is required. Your bike must comply with the Highway Code.
One of the highlights of this tour is the ride through the tunnel between Bech and Zittig, a real experience!
