The station completed in 1878 (formerly building for passenger and freight transport) is one of the stops on the route Trier-Koblenz.
Even at the end of the 50s there was a controlled freight - mainly wine shipping.
There were two waiting rooms, and a warehouse.
The railway was a major employer in the city. Many Neefer were employed at stations in Cochem and Bullay.
