Oldest houses in Zell
House “Müllen” (Balduinstraße 37) was built in 1532 and served as an electoral fortified house. On the massive ground floor there are two overlapping half-timbered floors with a beautiful Baroque door.
House “Bohn” (Balduinstraße 32) dating from 1535 was built in late Gothic style.
In the municipal district of Zell-Merl you can find the house “von Flottwell” in Hauptstraße 32. The natural stone brickwork was laid in 1260.
The half-timbered building dates from 1480 and the boarded wall dates from 1565.
