Even Romans and Celts knew the culinary delights of wine. However, the effort to transport the wine in amphorae across the Alps was too great. For this reason, they cultivated vines with us on the Moselle and were visibly amazed at their quality.
The original Münster family was already aware of the fantastic basis of the mineral slate Merkel soil for full-bodied wines. The winegrower Norbert Münster, an offspring of the 5th generation, follows tradition and cultivates the vineyards with dedication and a lot of manual work in order to bring only the best quality grapes into the cellar. Through the knowledge that has been passed down for 240 years and the commitment of the winemaker, you get the best wines with great character.
