With a performance at the traditional Forest Day, Ida wants to draw attention to the urgent need for nature conservation and thus also the protection of the local forest. Two birds with one stone, thinks Helene, who wants to film the performance and post it online - she dreams of a career as an influencer and hopes that Ida's performance will give her a decisive boost. But Helene is not just interested in fame. Her family is practically broke and she wants to use the influencer money to avoid the worst. The fact that her magical cat Karajan also expresses the most exorbitant wishes doesn't necessarily make things any easier. However, when the next big opportunity arises - a fashion show at the Natural History Museum - Helene makes a momentous mistake: she persuades the 0 museum director to perform with her class as part of the supporting program, but she forgets that the fashion show and Ida's forest day are on the same date... After the great success of the first film adaptation, which was awarded the German Film Prize in 2021 as the German film with the largest audience, the second feature film in the “School of Magical Animals” series was also well received by young audiences in 2022. Fans of the Winterstein School can now look forward to “Die Schule der magischen Tiere 3”, which will be released in cinemas on September 26, 2024.
